General guidelines:
- On city buses, wheelchair and assistive device access (e.g., wheelchair) is via the central door. If the middle section is full, the last person to board must wait for the next bus.
- Wheelchair users should be accommodated in the central area of the bus. If the bus is equipped with wheelchair straps, these can be used to secure the wheelchair during the journey. A stop button for wheelchair users is located in the centre of the vehicle, positioned low down.
- Park the wheelchair in the designated central space and ensure it stays in place. Move to a seat or hold on to the grab bars and handles while travelling.
- Visually Impaired Customers: Bus and coach signs are located at the top and side of the front window. On minibuses, signs are only on the front window. These signs use LED technology for visibility, and the line and direction can be confirmed from the side sign or by asking the driver when the bus is stationary at the stop. There are no stop signs inside the vehicles. You can follow your journey in real time via the route guide on your smartphone or, on some buses, via an on-board display.
- Special Needs Passengers (elderly, people with reduced mobility or sensory impairments, pregnant women): Most city buses have designated seating behind the driver for people with special needs.
