Service transport

The lines starting with “P” are service lines and are available to everyone, just like other local transport services.

In addition to regular bus stops, you can also board a service line along the route. Some service lines allow small deviations (up to 2 minutes) if the timetable permits, as indicated on the timetable. Any route deviations must be agreed upon with the driver in advance or by calling the number listed on the bus timetable.

Service lines have space for assistive devices, such as wheelchairs.

You can find the timetables for service lines on the Timetables and Routes page under Kotka and Hamina (note: there is no service in Pyhtää). Service lines are also listed in the Route Guide at kotka.digitransit.fi.

Fares:

The fare for service lines is the same as for regular bus tickets. Accepted means of payment are the same as for other local transport services. In addition to cash and Waltti products, debit cards (contactless payment) are accepted in Kotka and Pyhtää.
