Based on feedback received, minor schedule changes will be implemented starting Monday, October 26, 2026. In Hamina, there will be minor changes to five school-day routes. In Kotka, there will be a change to one service line route. In Pyhtää, there will be a minor change to one route operated on school days.
The purpose of the changes in Hamina and Pyhtää is to streamline school commutes and improve service reliability. The goal of the change to the Kotka service route is to improve the flow of the route.
Changes in Hamina
Route 74L Hamina Bus Station–Husula–Metsäkulma:
The current 3:22 p.m. service will be delayed by ten minutes. The new departure time is 3:32 p.m. The route’s arrival time will be adjusted accordingly.
Route 77V Hamina Bus Station–Alakaupunki–Vilniemi:
The current 3:00 p.m. departure will be delayed by ten minutes. The new departure time is 3:10 p.m. The layover time in Alakaupunki and the arrival time will be adjusted accordingly.
Route 78K Hamina Bus Station–Husula–Pyhältö:
The current 4:25 p.m. departure will be moved up by 15 minutes. The new departure time is 4:10 p.m. The route’s arrival time will be moved up accordingly.
Route 78V Ruissalo–Hamina Bus Station–Alakaupunki–Pyhältö:
The current 12:05 p.m. service will now depart at 12:10 p.m. The departure time and all stop times will be moved back by five minutes. The arrival time remains unchanged at 12:47 p.m.
Route 86 Alakaupunki–Hamina Bus Station:
A new trip will be added to the route, departing from Alakaupunki at 4:04 p.m. and arriving at the Hamina Bus Station at 4:09 p.m.
Changes in Pyhtää
Route 90P Kangas–Pyhtää Church Village–Huutjärvi–Kotka City Center:
The current 12:30 p.m. service will now depart at 12:20 p.m. The departure time and all stop times will be moved up by ten minutes.
Change to Kotka’s shuttle service
Route P014 City Center–Koskenrinne–Sutela–Karhuvuori–City Center:
The 11:45 a.m. stop at Koskenrinne will be moved up by five minutes, making the new time 11:40 a.m.
The stop at Hovinsaari (11:55 a.m.) will be eliminated, but the bus will continue to travel via Hovinsaari. This change prevents a situation where two public transit buses would be at the Koskenrinne stop in Korela at the same time.
